A wonderful alternative to the standard shrimp with red sauce, Zorba’s Taverna Restaurant and Bar’s seafood Stuffed Shrimp is perfect for the seafood lover transitioning from light summer fare to warmer, heartier fall dinners. Each shrimp was perfectly pink, firm, and generously stuffed. The lobster sauce was almost buttery in both texture and color, and there was more than enough to flavor the creamy mashed potatoes (my first side). The broccoli (my second side) was just as I like it . . . steamed, slightly crisp, and a gorgeous, vibrant green. This was a very satisfying meal. Better still, I had just enough left over for lunch the next day. -JJ

Chicken Souvlaki
The Chicken Souvlaki from Zorba’s Taverna Restaurant and Bar was exactly what I expected from a restaurant specializing in Greek cuisine – delicious! There was a generous amount of tzatziki sauce, which made the sandwich messy but wonderful. I didn’t taste the Greek dressing, but its flavor may have blended with the tzatziki. It would have been nice if there were a few more pieces of chicken in the wrap to make it feel more substantial and to keep me from picking at the side of generic fries. I did discover, however, that the fries were improved upon dipping into the extra tzatziki sauce. This sandwich does come with one warning – don’t make this a date night choice unless your partner is indulging in something with tzatziki as well as the garlic flavor is quite strong!
