Shiraz Armenian Cuisine’s stuffed grapeleaves (Sarma) plate includes ground lamb and rice rolled in grapeleaves served with rice, yogurt, and a salad. If you love grapeleaves, the Sarma Plate is a must have. The salad arrives first. It doesn’t look like anything special (mostly greens and tomatoes), but the dressing is good. The main dish arrives half-covered with eight grapeleaves; each perfectly rolled, deep green, and flavor-packed! Rice fills any remaining space on the plate – far too buttery to leave even a single gain behind. I didn’t expect to eat the yogurt until I spread a thick layer across a grapeleave bite … delicious! I’d only change one small thing … I’d request the salad WITH the main dish, rather than before … and I will next time! -JJ

Gyros Plate
Shiraz Armenian Cuisine’s Gyros Plate pressed sliced lamb and beef with Greek herbs and served with rice, sour cream sauce and a salad. Starting with a crisp salad with a wonderful, tasty homemade dressing, to cleanse the palate for the plate to come. The presentation of the gyros was professional, but not over done. The gyro meat, cooked perfectly, was super tasty with a well balanced dash of Greek herbs. All of the meat was laid over a bed of rice with the sour cream sauce tomatoes and onions all around the edge of the plate were a nice fresh addition to the meat and rice. -SE
