Nestled amongst the sports bars and active night life of the Canal District, sitting below ground level in the cool stone and brick basement of the same building as Dzian Gallery, you will find 86 Winter. Apart from an impressive menu of robust flavors—which is currently under the review of WorcesterFoodies—you’ll find a small brick bar with a modest selection of fine liquors, wines, and beers. The Ecstasy Martini on the cocktail list could quite possibly overpower your taste buds. Not for those looking for a subtle, dry flavor, this martini is sweet, potent, and full. Made with Three Olives Grape Vodka, Blue Curacao, Grenadine and a splash of club soda, the Ecstasy is as vibrant in color as it is in taste. When you are looking to escape the hustle of the city above, the small, quiet, bar in 86 Winter will make your sweet tooth alive again.

The Dancing Scotsman
No, the Dancing Scotsman isn’t the latest video going viral on YouTube, the Dancing Scotsman is a wonderfully concocted blend of Dewars Scotch, sparkling wine, lemon squeeze, agave nectar and a lemon twist. Prepared perfectly by master bartender J.P. at Ritual on Main Street, the sparkling wine worked well with the Dewars and the agave nectar made this cocktail super smooth to drink.
