On Saturday, April 23, Worcester’s DCU Center will be host to Worcester’s First Annual Craft Beer Festival or as it is being referred to, Brew-Woo. The event will feature 30+ well known breweries including Anheuser-Busch, Atlantic Brewing Company, Berkshire Brewing Company, Magic Hat, Olde Burnside Brewery and many more. Each of the participants will be featuring crafted beers and local brews. Other features of the event include live music, a Bar-Brew-Que corner, traditional concessions and a seminar stage with an expert panel from the brew making field.
The event is being hosted by KJ Baaron’s Fine Wine & Spirits of Worcester and will be sponsors by WAAF 97.7 / 107.3 radio. This is a 21+ event. The event will take place April 23 from 3:00pm to 9:00 pm at the DCU center on Foster Street in the Convention Center Exhibition Hall. Tickets will be $30 at the door and $25 in advance. The ticket price includes a souvenir glass and 10 drink tickets. Additional drink tickets will be for sale at the event. Brew-Woo attendees who present their Worcester WOO Card at the event will receive a $5 voucher that may be used at a SAVOR concession stand.
