Tatnuck Grille Closed — To Be Reopened Under Funky Murphy’s Umbrella

Tatnuck Grille

After five years of serving the Tatnuck Square area, Tatnuck Grille officially closed its doors on Friday the 13th, leaving the rest of us to wonder about the truth behind this superstitious holiday. In December, the Worcester Foodies dined at the neighborhood bar and grill and while there was a mixed feeling among the foodie crew about the menu, the overall summary was that Tatnuck Grille was a great place to go after a long day of work with “casual, affordable, pub-style food.”

Not all is bad, as this rumor has a happy ending. Cal Dolan and Dessie McKane, co-owners of Funky Murphy are said to have purchased the Tatnuck Grille location with the intention to renovate the space and reopen it’s newly branded location in three months. We don’t know how you feel, but a Funky Murphy-like restaurant in Tatnuck Square is much needed and we are sticking around to see this rumor unravel.
