Racha Thai Restaurant on the Western side of Worcester, near the Auburn line, is in a little strip mall and is easy to spot. Decorated in the Asian style. I expected our meals to take a bit longer, we were a large group and I only saw one wait staff for the whole restaurant but she was very prompt with filling water glasses and taking our drink and food orders.
My husband and I ordered an appetizer to start “Bangkok ravioli” it was fantastic, a light wonton wrapper filled with minced chicken and spices deep fried to a golden brown, it came with a soy based sauce to dip or drizzle over.
For my meal I ordered the “Thai Country Noodle” dish and was not disappointed, it was filled with thin egg noodles mixed in a spicy thai peanut sauce with bamboo shoots, onions, green peppers, broccoli and chicken. It was similiar to what I have had at other Thai restaurants however I thought the portions at Racha were a little more generous then some. I was able to finish my meal with a little help from my husband, however I was stuffed and very content by the time I left the restaurant.
I would return to this place and try some of the other menu options and of course I would absolutely order the “Thai country Noodle” dish again. -RL
