With twelve colleges and two-hundred and sixty four teams* in the city of Worcester when you are looking for something new and different to do, why not support one of the colleges’ sports teams? Whether you have a love of the sport, local college, or your college playing the local team, it is an affordable night out without having to go very far. For just over the price of a beer this weekend we checked out Holy Cross Men’s Hockey play the Rochester Institute of Technology team. Although the Holy Cross rink is about 1/10th the size of RIT’s the game was met with enthusiasm with the support of fans from both teams.
