Get Naked with Nu Cafe’s Evolution into Nu Kitchen

Nu Kitchen is evolving into a new concept.

Clean eating is rather a simple concept. Instead of creating a food lifestyle revolving around the amount of consumption of one product over another, like more protein and fewer carbs, the essence of cleaning eating is becoming more aware of the pathway of the food product, from its origin to its final destination, on a plate. Nu Cafe has embodied this notion over the last ten years and makes its debut rebranding as Nu Kitchen on May 1st, to solidify its stance on clean eating options.

Nu Kitchen aims to act as the heart of the community and a gathering place where guests can grab a quick meal, sit down and get work done, or enjoy a night out with friends.Since their opening in 2006, their commitment to living a healthy lifestyle has been on the forefront of their passion-based business. From their organic coffee to all natural meats, they believe food, drink, and lifestyle should be “clean and naked.”

“It’s become less and less about a place to get your morning coffee or a healthy lunch and more about the curation of a lifestyle,” said owner Josh Van Dyke. “We found our customers wanting to learn more about our ingredients and methodology and also wanting to push our hours later and later and have Nu Kitchen become an extension of not only kitchens but their living rooms as well.”

Nu Kitchen is a symbolic play on the heart of any home; the kitchen. “Nu Kitchen aims to act as the heart of the community and a gathering place where guests can grab a quick meal, sit down and get work done, or enjoy a night out with friends” as Nu Kitchen will follow and expand the level of events hosted at the Worcester and Somerville locations.
