WooTrucks is proud to announce Worcester’s second annual Food Truck Throwdown. The purpose of the festival is to vote one food truck “Best in Worcester” for 2019. The winner will be chosen by local celebrity judges. Attendees will also be able to vote for their favorite truck. A second “people’s choice award” will be given based off of attendees ballots. There will be 28 food truck this year, as well as dozens of local crafters, vendors and artisans. The list of food trucks and vendors can be found on our Facebook page worcesterfoodtrucks. Last year saw over 2500 people attend and vote for their favorite truck. We expect that to double this year. This is a rain or shine event.
Admission is $5.00 for adults, children under 12 free, and includes a ballot for voting. Free parking is available on the Channing St entrance to Green Hill park. Paid parking is $5.00 and is at Worcester Vocational Technical High School with a free shuttle to the food trucks.
The event will be held in historic Green Hill Park in Worcester, on Saturday May 4th, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm. Trucks will be placed throughout the grounds allowing the attendees to picnic, and enjoy the park. The playground and petting zoo will be open.
