2021 Worcester Wine Festival Grand Tasting
August 28 at 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
What To Expect
VIP Admission (SOLD OUT)
Presented by Horizon Beverages
At noon, 150 VIP guests will be welcomed into Polar Park and invited onto the field (weather permitting) to walk the warning track to try hundreds of wines from around the world. For one hour they will be able to work their way through their palate before being invited into the DCU Club overlooking the ball park. At this time, they will be seated for a curated pairing menu with some exclusive wines not always accessible to consumers. Upon the completion of the dinner, guests are welcome to return to the field until last call at 3:30pm.
The general admission ticket allows guests into Polar Park at 1:00pm. At this time, they are welcomed onto the outfield grass (heels not recommended) and warning track to taste hundreds of wines from around the world. The Grand Tasting will last until 3:30pm and will also include access to food vendors to help cleanse the palate between wines.
This event will take place rain or shine. In the situation of extreme heat or rain, the tasting will be held under the cover of the concourse instead of the grass. Water stations and paid food services will be available throughout the event. This event is for 21+ (designated drivers included) and valid ID must be presented during admission.
Since its inception in 2017, the Worcester Wine Festival has brought together thousands of food and wine enthusiasts to New England’s second largest city to celebrate wine. Consumers, both casual and professionals, have been able to enjoy over 600 quality wines during the tasting and because of the incredible representation of vineyards, wineries, distributors, and more, with the re-opening of the commonwealth, we’re thrilled to be able to celebrate wine at Polar Park in Worcester on Saturday, August 28th.
