Brian Treitman + Bill Nemeroff: Out Of The Pit Wormtown Beer Dinner
February 25, 2019 at 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$115 – $200
Chef Brian Treitman and Chef Bill Nemeroff stepped outside of the pit of BT’s Smokehouse and joined us for an intimate 30-person dinner at Wormtown Brewery on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. The evening was meant to show off the technical training and culinary skills that both chefs have earned over the years—before finding themselves at the BBQ smoker. The private dinner started with a cocktail hour with appetizers and a specially chosen Wormtown Beer with a behind-the-scenes peek of the inner-workings of Worcester’s first, and iconic, brewery. The sit-down meal featured four courses that highlighted the chef’s talents and each course was paired with two Wormtown beers to emphasize the impact that different style brews can affect a meal. During each course, the chefs and brewers talked about what came together for each pairing. To conclude the evening, the fourth course—served within the taproom—offered a fun way to celebrate food in the heart of the Commonwealth with a special sweet treat.
