Mare E Monti Trattoria is a great addition to the Worcester dining scene. With anticipation I ordered the Lasagne Al Forno and all I can say is this was a very yummy spin on a classic lasagna. The pasta was layered with fresh ricotta, pasta, meat sauce and the perfect amount of mozzarella cheese. The combination of fresh basil and fresh tomatoes made the sauce slightly sweet and I really enjoyed the abundance of flavor in the dish. The portion size was enough for two so I packed up half of it and ate it for lunch the next day. It reheats well and kept the flavor. If your looking for a nice evening out, with good drinks, relaxing atmosphere and classic Italian fare I would recommend Mare E Monti Trattoria.
